Who is Nick Hausen?

Nick Hausen, a proud Mizzou grad, grew up in Festus, Missouri. He was hired to be the weekend meteorologist for a television station in Carterville, Illinois upon graduating college. Nick moved to Southern Illinois in 2011 and soon fell in love with his wife, Hilary. Nick worked his way up over the years and achieved the role of Chief Meteorologist. After more than a decade in the television industry, Nick decided to pursue his newfound desire, helping grow Southern Illinois, by taking on a role with an economic development group. He continues to fulfill his passion for weather by providing daily forecasts digitally through his app, this website, and his Facebook page. Nick and Hilary have two beautiful daughters and they are proud to call Southern Illinois home.
